It’s a new month with new blessings coming our way despite being in Mercury Retrograde. 

A lot of people associate Mercury Retrograde with communication issues like misunderstandings and arguments as well as technology glitching or flat out shutting down. People also associate Mercury Retrograde with ex’s or people from the past coming back around.  

I’m choosing to use Mercury Retrograde as a way to reflect, re-center and release, which isn’t a new concept but it’s the first time I’m fully embodying it. 

I’ve been thinking about my roots now that I’m in touch with my biological grandmother from my mother’s side. 

I’ve also been revisiting books I’ve read this year and returned to a book I haven’t finished reading yet to provide me with insights for the rest of the year. 

A few insights I’m honing in on are specifically related to my business. 

Spirituality and Business 

If you didn’t get a chance to read last week’s newsletter, I wrote about how my business coach, Aly Kravitz aka Bronx Witch of BetterWitch Coaching Skool, spoke about what spiritual and wellness business owners can do before hibernating for the winter. 

Aly’s been emphasizing how hustle culture has taken us away from the natural rhythm of the seasons, so she has done a reading for each of the elemental zodiac signs (air, fire, earth, water) to let us know how we can get the most out of the remainder of this season before going into hibernation (taking a break or at least taking it slow). She calls these readings Tea and Tarot Monthly Business Forecast.  

Whether you’re a spiritual business owner (or witchpreneur as she likes to call it), a wellness business owner, or a business owner in general, I think her video is worth exploring. 

Regardless of whether you’re active in your business or taking a break, her Tea and Tarot video offers a perspective of how to best utilize the energy of the season we’re all experiencing through the lens of the elements of each zodiac sign. She also spoke about the importance of ancestor veneration as a business owner in her YouTube video “Connecting with your Ancestors – Why Does It Matter?”, where she drops gems on how you can utilize honoring your ancestors in your career and expands the definition of what an ancestor is with her podcast guest, Ben Stimpson. 

How I am applying this to my life

I decided to figure out how I can manifest learning more about my biological father and his family, which is still unknown. 

I also decided to make some changes in my own business. I’ve been speaking very generally about spirituality for people who are newer to spiritual and occult concepts but after writing this newsletter for almost a year, I decided to change my audience and vision.

So allow me to reintroduce myself:

My name is Chelsea Hamlet and I help small business owners and creatives integrate spirituality into their business, health and relationships.

This feels much more aligned with who I want to serve, what I do for myself already, and how I want to grow my business.

I plan on talking more about how I integrate spirituality into my business, health and relationships (and how you can too), so be on the lookout for upcoming newsletters.
