Happy Taurus Season (and a bit of introspection)

Happy Taurus Season ♉️!

Some of my favorite people are Taurus sun signs (or have Taurus in their Big 3).

In my opinion, Taurus women (and Taurus individuals who embody feminine energy) are some of the luckiest/good energy people I’ve ever met. (No offense to the Taurus men out there… I just don’t meet a lot of y’all. Lol 🙈)

They’re usually at the right place at the right time. They tend to get free things just for being who they are. They also end up meeting celebrities or influencers, even if it’s in a casual setting. This doesn’t happen all the time, but when it does, the experience and the story behind it are amazing.

Since Venus rules Taurus, I’ve noticed they like nice things, good food, quality naps, and time to decompress in their space until they’re ready to be social again. (If you need an example, Adele is a Taurus lol)

So, for all my Taurus people out there, from one earth sign (Capricorn) to another, I hope Venus brings you even more love, gifts, and decadence this season.

A BIT OF INTROSPECTION

Lately, I’ve been feeling very introspective. I’ve been thinking about how I want my life to be in the next 10 years.

I know that sounds like a big question, but a few months ago, I had a conversation with someone about where my life is now compared to some of my peers. One of the things this person mentioned was that many of my peers have been in their field for a decade or longer, which is why their lives look different compared to mine.

I let that reality sit for a bit because at first I resisted the feedback. However, when I looked around at my peers, the common denominator I saw was that they all truly had 10+ years in the game. It’s hard to resist facts. Lol.

They spent so much time in their industry that they are now mid-level or senior-level professionals.

Once the sting of that realization mellowed out, I decided to really ask myself questions about what I want my life to be like in the next 10 years:

How do I want to spend my time?

What can I see myself doing?

What’s the next step?

I’m not talking about having a concrete plan for the next 10 years. I’ve been assessing where my energy and interests are moving, so I can decide what direction I’m going into that I don’t mind staying on that path for the next few years.

For example, I created this blog for people who are just starting on their spiritual journey but don’t know where to start and want options to figure out what works for them.

I’ve been thinking about how I want this blog to evolve, and I realize I want to evolve with it. I’m not sure what that looks like, but I’m excited to go on the journey.

So, now I’m asking you:

What do you see the next 10 years looking like for yourself?

Where is your energy and interest pulling you?

How do you want to use that energy to propel you towards the life you envision for yourself?
